John Kopke is the owner and operator of Progressive Building Inspections. As our inspector, he has performed over 10,000 inspections. Many of our clients are repeat clients, happy to find John still inspecting as they move on to their second, third or fourth inspections done by John. Before inspecting, John owned a construction company and has experience with residential and commercial construction. John earned his Associates Degree in Construction Technology and his Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. John continues to value education and participates in continuing education for both radon measurement and building inspections in order to stay up to date on the latest information. He is a member of both the national organization: the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and the regional chapter: Great Lakes Chapter of ASHI (GLC-ASHI). Along with being a measurement professional for radon, he is a member of the American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (AARST).
